Jo Lockley & Steve Cakebread are from London and Sydney.

Steve is a published cartoonist and Jo is a fashion textile designer.

 

Combining these two aesthetics within their mural art, they endeavour to explore the notion of unseen aspects of the natural world enlarged and on display in the public arena. 

 

They hope to draw attention to diversity within our communities and the comparisons with the natural world, encouraging the viewer to question what they are seeing and to acknowledge beauty, if not immediately recognisable.
